Biltong Macaroni Cheese
Ingredients
- 250 g Pasta
- 40 g butter
- 40 g plain flour
- 600 ml milk
- 250 g grated cheddar
- 50 g sliced biltong (you decide on the biltong flavour)
Instructions
- Cook pasta in salted water for 10 mins - or as instructed on the packet
- Melt the butter in a pan and gradually add the flour to form a roux
- Gradually whisk in the milk and stir for about 10 mins until the sauce thickens
- Preheat grill
- Remove the sauce from the hob and add the cheese, stir until melted in the mixture
- Place under the grill until bubbling hot
- Serve immediately and sprinkle your choice of sliced biltong on top
